That's according to the curious data scientists at MyFitnessPal, a nutrition and fitness-logging app, who peeked into their database from the past four years to check out the percentage of foods logged each day that contained the word “kale.” They then shared those findings with BuzzFeed Life.

January 6, 2014 was the day MyFitnessPal members logged the most kale. January in general also appears to be a strong kale month year after year, thanks to NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS. The obvious question that remains to be seen: What will January 2015 bring for this cruciferous green? Only time will tell.
